1st - 3rd grade girls learned about how squirrels prepare to stay warm in the winter. We went out and scouted the campus for squirrel nests and discussed how they use sticks and leaves to build them. Then we gathered sticks and leaves and built one ourselves!

Every year, the 4-5-6 girls plant beautiful flowers in clay pots to be displayed during all Maharishi School graduation ceremonies. Each girl chooses and plants their own design. Some will remain in the greenhouse to add the annual welcoming touch to Olivia's Entrance.

How do you get "lettuce hair"? The 1-2-3 girls decorated their pots with silly faces, planted the seeds and watched them grow! Four weeks later they are excited to take their lettuce hair home where they will clip off a salad or two.
