Pizza Day in the Kitchen

September cooking culminated in Pizza Day. The 4-6 grade classes started the month making pesto from the "pizza garden" that included basil, tomatoes and green and red peppers they planted in the Spring. The following week they made the tomato sauce. Now is the fun part - making the dough and putting it all together into one delicious treat - their own homegrown, homemade pizza! What a great example of the Garden of Bliss Seed-to-Table experience.
